ATME is very excited to announce that we have become the exclusive association sponsor for the new DigMe Summit to be held in NYC at Affinia Manhattan on June 10-11th. DigMe stands for Digital Media and is an interesting and practical dive into the "why's" and "how's" about how you as a destination, hotel, attraction, cruise line, tour operator can cost effectively use Digital Media with smaller budgets in mind. ATME 2015 Travel Marketing & Programming Fund
ATME is creating additional programming in 2015 including more Think Tanks and more Workshops on specific marketing topics including: crisis management, mobile marketing, product development, luxury segment, niche marketing, etc.
We are also reinstating our informal, grassroots events in any city or location where there are travel marketers who want to get together on a regular basis to discuss trends, industry segments, new product development, technology, and just have the pleasure and fun of networking with their peers.

THE NEW ATME: The ATME Board of Directors has been working to rebirth the Association to better meet the needs of today’s travel marketers. After serious consideration we have decided that a small volunteer-based association can’t produce and sustain a full annual conference that is both meaningful and cost-effective at this time. It is increasingly difficult to simply find a date that doesn’t compete with other industry events.
We have therefore decided to present frequent smaller events such as our successful Think Tank series covering hot topics such as Media Strategies and Digital Marketing held in different regions of the country, as well as a new Travel Marketing Workshop Series providing hands-on educational tools for hot issues such as Crisis Management and Mobile Marketing. We are also introducing a grassroots type of travel marketing event—informal breakfast, lunch or after-work get-together-- in many different cities that will provide frequent networking opportunities and valuable insights and discussions on important industry changes happening in real time.
We will also enhance our email Travel Marketing Newsletter, MarketFlash, and continue to post interesting marketing news on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
